We will be exploring the world via street food in the one of the world’s most diverse areas just 15-20 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. We will be eating a lot. ALL food we order on the tour is included in the price! In this neighborhood of Queens, carts and trucks come out with some of the most delicious food to be had in NYC. Many places we visit are hole in the wall, hidden gems that aren't easily noticed if you were to walk through the neighborhood on your own. These are places that we frequent and where we eat often and want to share them with you! We'll also share more information about the neighborhood, vendors and cuisines so you can learn more along with getting a great meal. Often, the vendors will change by day, so each tour may be unique. Our journey may take you from Tibet to Mexico and more in between. You will have the opportunity to learn more about New York City from a native's perspective. Itineraries can be tweaked for dietary restrictions. Take a guided horseback riding tour on our 300+ acres of private mountain trails lead by an experienced guide. After signing up and meeting the horses, we will show you the skills you need to ride through our trails. You will be accompanied by an experienced trail guide the entire time. This is a beginner friendly ride, most of the ride is walking, we go at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group. If you would like to do some more trotting, don't want to ride in a group, or are experienced, we recommend booking a private ride. The ride itself is 1 hour long and is done in a western saddle. Everything is better with goats. (It's true.) Designed specifically for the people who love being active in the outdoors and also love animals! Come hike with us and our herd of rescued goats through the beauty of the forest tucked into a remote part of the Catskills, just 2 hours from Manhattan. Our goats feel safest with humans and so they magically follow and walk with us through the woods on seasoned trails as we become part of their herd. No leashes needed! We will meander over beautiful streams, enjoying the wildlife and scenery while we forage for some of the goat's favorite treats. We stop midway for a brief rest and water break before finishing our loop, hiking approximately 2.5 miles and taking about 1.5 - 2 hrs, depending on our pace. For those who are interested, your guide can tell you the rescue story of each goat, share their quirks and different personalities and answer any question you might have about goats in general (with a few terrible goat jokes/puns thrown in for good measure.) If you are looking for a unique outdoor experience that combines your love of animals, hiking and nature, this is for you! For animal lovers visiting the Hudson valley, Wayward Ranch is a must see on your list of places to explore! We are a nonprofit animal sanctuary and rescue located on a beautiful and serene 60 acre horse farm in Kerhonkson. On the tour you get the opportunity to meet our horses, pigs, goats, and maybe even a dog or a cat, along the way learning each of their individual stories. We provide hands-on interaction with all the animals, giving you an up close and personal introduction to the world of animal welfare and rescue. With this in mind, I founded Resilience Adventures, an organization that offers eco-focused kayak and paddleboard experiences on the beautiful Hudson River with the Manhattan Skyline as backdrop. The Manhattan Skyline Eco-Tour is a beginner-level kayak experience which includes basic instruction first and then a group (or private) kayak tour on the Hudson River. The tour travels along the Hoboken waterfront with stunning views of the Manhattan Skyline. The distance traveled depends on the skill/speed of the group. The duration of the entire experience, including instruction, is 1.5 hours after participant check-in.
