Our sea kayak tour start from the beach of Fyriplaka and then we head to the east, to the beaches of Tsigrado and Gerakas, along the volcanic coastline of Milos. On our way, we will be paddling along beautiful small bays, into caves and around tiny islets. Throughout this journey, we will swim in crystal-clear waters and we will explore the magnificent underwater world of Milos, with the help of our snorkeling mask! Keep your fingers crossed; we might even swim close to a sea turtle, reach a hidden volcanic beach or find a thermal spring! We will also be taking pictures, using our action camera, so you can keep the highlights of the tour and bring home the breeze of the Aegean Sea. When we arrive at Gerakas, we will have the chance to enjoy a traditional, homemade treat and then paddle our way back, with our backpacks full of unforgettable memories. Before our walk, we meet the donkeys and find out about their nature and special needs and features. You will learn how to approach, groom, feed, put on the halter and handle a donkey. To start our trip we choose the appropriate donkey for each hiker. The distance we shall cover is about 3-6 kilometers depending on your courage and includes a break for water and beverages. The path we take is full of old olive trees and vineyards. During our trekking you will learn how to read and understand the donkey's behavior and how to lead and negotiate with your donkey. Walking by the side of the most patient and calm animal is a unique experience that you will remember forever. When we arrive back to the stable, you can participate in feeding the donkeys, as well as the chickens and the ducks. As a reward for your effort we will enjoy a glass of Greek raki and traditional mezedes. Keep in mind that the start time of the experience is indicative and can be modified according to your wish. LEARN MOSAIC IN ATHENS A four (4) hours course in the center of Athens, right above the Ancient cemetery of Keramicos and very close to the Acropolis and the historical center of Athens, we teach people how to create their own mosaic based on Ancient Greek, Roman and modern designs. Using the direct method our participients will be able to create their mosaic and take it to their home in four hours. We will begin with an introduction to organic olive farming , focusing on cultivation methods which result in healthy trees and top quality olive oil. You will learn to identify some of the varieties of olive tree, and will acquire basic (or more advanced if you are interested) knowledge of growing olives. We will give you a briefing on the exciting, ongoing research on the health giving properties of excellent olive oil and you will learn about the role of oleocanthal in promoting good health. We will show you round the farm and then if you wish you can participate in watering, pruning, repairing stone terraces, mending olive nets or picking olives (the harvest is from October onwards). Finally you will enjoy a well deserved tasting session, with our own delicious olive oil and different accompaniments. Other things to note We are happy to tailor your experience to whatever aspect of olive growing you are most interested in and can adapt the activities to all levels of fitness.

After having a little aperitif, we are going to create a 6 course menu, including a starter, a salad, one vegetarian main dish, one with seafood, one with meat and a dessert. We, my mother, Effie and I, we are not chefs. Likewise, we cook at our restaurant the way we do at home. Traditional recipes are our favorites. I am glad that I have a great treasure and valuable taste memories from my grandma Helen.
